Oakfield is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff, Governors and volunteers to share this commitment. We ensure there are consistent and effective safeguarding procedures in place to support families, children and staff at school.

Our Safeguarding Team

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Mr Seymour, our Executive Headteacher.

Our Assistant Headteacher Miss Hathaway, and our SLT Class Teachers Mrs Walters and Miss McCluskey are also Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSL).

Our Governor with responsibility for safeguarding is Mr Dorrett.
