THURSDAY

10.15am - the children all slept well again and are full of excitement and anticipation for their day at Alum Bay.  At the time of writing they are on the coach on their way to the bay, and are in very good spirits.

Yesterday they had a fantastic trip to Dinosaur Island followed by an excursion to the beach to search for fossils.  In the evening they went to the park and then back to the hotel for bed - not surprisingly they went to sleep very quickly after such a packed day!

Everyone enjoyed Rock Pooling yesterday afternoon - the weather was fantastic and the children found lots of crabs, sea snails and other slimy sea creatures! They then returned to the hotel, where everyone is happy with their rooms.  After tea the children wrote their postcards before settling down early for a chat and a much-needed sleep.
