Teddy Bears Picnic

We’ve already had our first few weeks at school and everyone is settling in really well to Year One and the new routines. To get to know each other better our topic this term is ‘Ourselves’. Over the coming weeks we will be thinking about our bodies and the 5 senses, our feelings and emotions, and some of our favourite things.

Some of us bought our favourite teddies into school and went across to the park for a Teddy Bears picnic at Golden Time. We had a lovely time playing in the park and eating the delicious cookies we had baked in school!
 

Sadly Mrs Hart lost her classroom Kiwi, Kapai! Maple class suggested making missing posters and we have been busily making posters to put up around the school. Fingers crossed we’ll be able to find him soon! Come back to see if we’ve been successful in finding him.
