What a jam packed busy week we've had in Sycamore class.
Starting with the whole school photo on Monday morning. It was quite a magnificent sight to see all the pupils and staff together in one place at the same time. It will indeed be a lovely memento for Mrs Sendorek to look back on.
Tuesday saw the first session of Dads into school, where we did some work on the classification of animals. We really put the Dads to the test, I think they passed with flying colours though.
Yesterday we had the main Dads into school day. We did a bit of Pond dipping with Mr Bednar, which found some fascinating creatures. We had frogspawn that were quite far into the process of turning into full grown frogs, they had developed their front legs and just needed to lose their tails.
We went bug hunting with MrTaylor, lots of woodlice and spiders found in the depths of the school field. And we were looking at flower and plant spieces with Mrs Morgan, trying to find out what wild plants around our school are called, we had lots of very helpful reference books to help with this fortunately.
Then we ended the day with a fantastic Sports Day. Thank you all so much for coming.
We all had a fantastic day and we hope you enjoyed it too.
Have a great weekend and Happy Father's Day!!
From Mr Bednar and Mrs Morgan
