During our PE lessons, we have been focussing on gymnastics. Firstly, we practised balancing using different parts of our body. Next, we practised moving in a variety of ways, making sure that we varied the height, speed and number of limbs that we used to help us to travel! Once we had practised these, we combined what we had learnt to form sequences, making sure that we thought carefully about moving smoothly. We had the opportunity to complete these sequences on different apparatus, including the wall bars, which were our favourite! Here are some photographs of us in action:
Next, we’ll be creating dances to represent our favourite sports as well as playing a variety of multi-skills games to help us to improve our skills across a range of sports, including hockey, football and tennis. Watch this space for some more photographs of our PE lessons.
