On Wednesday Sycamore along with Cedar class visited a very muddy Ufton Court, near Reading.
We were shown how Anglo-Saxon people would have lived off their land and produced their own food and herbs to survive.
We went into the Hen Coop to find the eggs they had laid. We had a go on a stone grinder that turned wheat into flour, we even went pig poo picking!! (Which the children were surprisingly, the most excited about)
Sycamore and Cedar even went in a Head-to-Head battle!
We had an absolutely fantastic day!
(Even Mrs Morgan surprised herself by enjoying stomping in the mud!)
Enjoy the pictures!
