On Monday, the children performed in their Maestros concert. Thank you to all the parents who came along to support the children. I was very impressed with all the performances and it was interesting to see how well all the children had progressed this term. Keep up the practise!
In Science this week, we have been looking at the human body and how we move. We have recently looked at the different bones we have and we have now progressed to studying the muscles. During the lesson, we created our own model arms with cardboard bones and string muscles! Here are some photos of us carefully observing the movement when the biceps and triceps relaxed and contracted.
In History, we have created Roman shields looking at how the shield is curved to protect the body. On Thursday, Year 3 went into the hall to act out the Celtic Rebellion after the Romans had invaded. This was great fun and we had some very enthusiastic soldiers!
