What a wonderful World Book Day we had! From witches to superheroes, the costumes were fantastic. Thank you to all the adults and children who took part and created such imaginative costumes! I took a rest from teaching as Six Dinner Sid took Chestnut Class for the day!

We discussed our costumes and the books we enjoyed. In the afternoon, we had a whole school parade where we were able to see the costumes from other year groups. Below are just some of the great characters we had in class on World Book Day.

Picture 2 Witches and wizards from Hogwarts
Picture 3 Matilda, a cake fairy and Mary (Secret Garden)
Picture 4 We even had an atlas!

We were lucky enough to have Andy Cope, the author of the Spy Dog books, into school. He was very funny and inspired lots of us to read!

Thank you to everyone who put lots of effort into making this day as brilliant as it could be! Looking forward to next year!
