Autumn Term (4)

This week it has really felt like the lead up to Christmas has begun. We have started to practise the Christmas play and each have our different parts. There are lots of dances and songs to learn.

We have been carrying on learning about the Ancient Greeks. On Wednesday, we carried out different tasks to learn more about their alphabet, artefacts and lives.

Finally, on Friday it was the annual Advent Assembly (thank you to all the parents and grandparents that came) and the Christmas Disco. The Advent Assembly was very interesting and we practised some songs that we will be doing in church on Sunday. The Christmas Disco was probably the highlight of the week with dancing, games, a video and everyone having a lovely time! Everyone looked fantastic in their party clothes and we saw some brilliant dance moves!

Next week, we have lots going on again. We look forward to our Maestros performance where our children will be displaying their newly acquired skills with the cello, viola or clarinet. If you can come along to support the children, that would be great.
